Hi, I’m Chris Woodrum, a photographer and visual storyteller based in the Greater Pittsburgh area. I specialize in portrait and editorial work that feels natural, heartfelt, and timeless.

Originally from Morgantown. I studied photojournalism at WVU before heading west. That path led me through a creatively fulfilling chapter in Napa Valley, where I helped build a cult wine brand. As meaningful as that work was, I eventually felt the pull to return home, both in geography and in purpose.

 

Photography has always been my grounding point. It’s how I connect with people, observe the world, and tell quiet, honest stories. I approach each session with a calm, thoughtful presence, creating space for people to feel at ease. That’s when the most authentic moments unfold naturally.

 

What draws me in most are the real, fleeting moments, the kind you can’t plan or pose.
